Finding the Duplicate Feature

Need help locating the duplicate option? Here's where to find it in your Lome dashboard:

Step-by-Step Navigation

  1. Go to your Events section in your Lome dashboard
  2. Find the event you want to copy and click the "Edit" button
  3. Look for three dots (⋯) next to your event title at the top of the page
  4. Click the three dots to open the menu options
  5. Select "Duplicate" from the dropdown menu

Common Scenarios for Event Duplication

Event duplication is perfect for:

  • Annual events: Copy last year's church picnic or school fundraiser to use the same structure
  • Recurring activities: Duplicate weekly volunteer signups or monthly community meetings
  • Similar events: Use your Sunday service signup as a template for special services
  • Multi-location events: Copy an event setup to use at different campuses or locations

Remember: When you duplicate an event, all the signup categories and volunteer roles will copy over, but the actual participant signups will start fresh. This gives you the perfect clean slate while keeping all your hard work setting up the event structure!
