Payment Button - Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App

You can add a button to your sign-up that sends people to your Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or Cash App to pay.

Lome does not process the payment. The button hands people over to your own account, and the money goes straight to you — Lome never sees it and takes no cut. It also means Lome cannot tell you who has paid; you check that in your payment app.

Adding the button

1. Open your sign-up and click Edit.
2. Go to the Design tab.
3. Scroll to where you want the button and click the + to insert a block.
   • On mobile the + is always visible.
   • On desktop, hover over an open section for it to appear.
4. Choose the payment block.
5. Fill in:
   • Amount — optional; leave it out for a donation
   • Note — what carries across to the payment app
   • Username — your Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or Cash App handle
   • Button text — what people see, e.g. "Pay $10 on Venmo"
6. Click Done, then Done again to come out of editing.

Moving it

Blocks can be reordered, so the button can sit above the sign-up items rather than below. Drag it in the Design tab. Above works better when payment is expected from everyone; below is better when it is optional.

Worth knowing

Nothing is enforced. Someone can sign up without pressing the button. If payment is required, say so in your description and check your payment app against your results list.

One button, one account. Add more than one block if you want to offer a choice of apps.

Check the handle. Mistyped usernames are the most common problem — the button will happily send people to the wrong profile or nowhere at all. Press it yourself once after setting it up.
