Get notified when someone changes or cancels a sign-up
By default, Lome emails you when someone signs up. You can also get an email when someone changes, moves, or cancels a sign-up — so you know when a spot has reopened.
Turn it on or off
- Open your sign-up and click Edit.
- Click Settings.
- Under Notifications:
- Sign Up Notifications — after every sign-up, a daily summary, or none.
- Change & Cancellation Notifications — also email you when someone changes a quantity, moves to a different item or time, or cancels. This is on by default for every sign-up.
- Co-Host Notifications — send these emails to your co-hosts and account admins as well.
- Save.
Change and cancellation emails use the same schedule as your sign-up notifications: if you chose a daily summary, changes and cancellations arrive in that summary.
What the email contains
The person's name, what they had signed up for, and what changed — for example "Removed: Set-up crew, Sat 10 Oct" or "Changed quantity: 2 → 1".
The guest's side
When someone cancels, they receive a short confirmation: "You're no longer signed up for …". It contains no link that lets anyone else edit their response.
Not seeing these emails?
- Check that Sign Up Notifications is not set to none — that also turns off change notifications.
- Check spam or junk for mail from support@withlome.com.
- If you cancelled your own response as the host, no notification is sent to you.
