Lome Plan Event and Community Board Limits

If you're asking the question "Why can't I create more sign up forms?" then you're in the right place!

Lome subscription levels both free and paid limit the number of Sign Up Forms, RSVPs and Community Boards you can create and have active concurrently.

The number is based on active, published events or communities. The count does not reset. However, you can delete old events/communities to make space for new ones.

If you are considering a paid Lome subscription we recommend selecting the level that corresponds to the number of concurrent sign up forms you will need at any given time.

QR Code Feature Availability

QR codes are a premium feature available only on higher tier Lome plans. If you've recently upgraded your account but still can't access QR codes, this likely means your current plan doesn't include this feature rather than a trial expiring.

To check if your plan includes QR codes:

  • Visit your account settings to view your current subscription tier
  • Compare your plan against our current pricing page to see which features are included
  • If you need QR code functionality, consider upgrading to a plan tier that includes this feature

Remember that upgrading to access premium features like QR codes will also increase your event and community board limits, giving you more flexibility for your organization's needs.

Troubleshooting Subscription Activation Issues

Sometimes after upgrading your Lome subscription, you may find that your new plan's features and limits aren't working as expected. This could indicate a backend activation issue that requires our support team's assistance.

Signs Your Subscription Isn't Properly Activated

  • You're still limited to your previous plan's event/community limits despite upgrading
  • Premium features you paid for aren't available in your account
  • Your account settings show the old subscription tier even after payment

Steps to Verify Your Account Status

  1. Check your email for a subscription confirmation from Lome
  2. Log into your Lome account and navigate to account settings
  3. Verify that your subscription tier matches what you paid for
  4. Try creating a new event or accessing premium features to test your limits

When to Contact Support

If you've confirmed payment went through but your account still shows old limits or features, please contact our support team. Include your payment confirmation and describe the specific issues you're experiencing. Our team can check for backend activation errors and resolve them quickly.

Subscription Pricing Changes and Legacy Plans

In March 2025, Lome updated our subscription pricing. If you were an existing customer at that time, you likely received an email notification about these changes and important information about your account.

Legacy Rate Protection

Customers who had active subscriptions before March 2025 were grandfathered into their existing rates, which remain significantly lower than current pricing for new customers. This legacy pricing is protected as long as you maintain your current plan without switching.

Impact of Plan Switching

Important: If you switch plans or cancel and resubscribe, you will lose access to your legacy pricing and will be charged at current rates. Before making any plan changes, consider:

  • Whether your current plan limits meet your ongoing needs
  • The cost difference between your legacy rate and current pricing
  • Whether temporarily deleting old events might be preferable to upgrading

Legacy Events and Current Quotas

Events and communities created under previous subscriptions still count against your current plan's quota limits. This means if you have 8 active events from before your plan change, and your current plan allows 10 events, you can only create 2 new events without deleting existing ones.

To manage your quota effectively:

  • Review your active events and archive or delete ones that are no longer needed
  • Consider whether upgrading is worth losing your legacy pricing
  • Plan your events strategically to stay within your limits
