Customize The Email Reply After Someone Signs Up
After someone signs up, you may want to send them certain details, links or even just a special thank you! This video shows you how to edit the email reply message:

0:00 Lome enables you to customize the email reply after somebody signs up. So after somebody signs up, they get a confirmation email. 0:10 You can add a custom message to that using this feature. So how do we do that? Well, you go into edit, you go to settings, and we scroll down. 0:22 And under customization, you'll notice there's something here that says custom reply. Click on that, and we can write something up. 0:31 Uh, make sure to bring a jacket. The weather may be cold. You also have access to our editor, text editor. 0:44 So you can insert a link, you can turn things in, you can bold, uh, you know, et cetera, et cetera. 0:49 So then we click turn on. And now we scroll down, we click done. Now when somebody signs up, they will get an email confirmation from you, from Lome, and it will include that message.
All Parent Confirmation Notifications
When parents or families sign up through your Lome form, they automatically receive confirmation notifications to let them know their registration was successful. Here's what gets sent and how parents can access their appointment details:
Confirmation Emails
Every parent who signs up receives an automatic confirmation email that includes:
- Confirmation that their registration was received
- Details of their selected time slot(s)
- Any custom message you've added (as shown in the video above)
- Instructions for viewing or managing their appointment
How Parents Access Their Confirmed Appointment Details
Parents can view their confirmed appointments in several ways:
From the Confirmation Email:
- Click the link in their confirmation email
- This takes them to a page showing all their scheduled times
- They can print or save this information for their records
From the Original Sign-Up Link:
- Parents can return to your original sign-up form URL
- Enter the same email address they used to sign up
- The system will show their existing appointments instead of the sign-up form
Direct Link Sharing:
- You can share a direct "View Appointments" link with all families
- Parents enter their email to see their specific scheduled times
- This link is available in your form's sharing options
What if Parents Don't Receive Notifications?
If parents report not receiving confirmation emails or texts:
- Ask them to check spam/junk folders
- Verify they entered their email address correctly during sign-up
- You can resend confirmations from your Lome dashboard
- Direct them to use the "View Appointments" link as an alternative
All notification settings can be customized in your form's settings under the "Notifications" and "Customization" sections.
