Well, Lome has a feature called co-hosts. 0:15 You can invite somebody to an individual form who can become a co-host of that form. How do we do that? 0:22 Well, we come in to edit, or share. In share menu, you go to share and then you click down here on co-hosts and you could add somebody. 0:34 Riley with lome.com. And we could choose to make them a co-host. Now you'll note here that there are two possible roles. They could become an admin, which means they have full access to your entire Lome account. In order to most every case, this is not what you want to do. 0:51 You can do event by event co-hosts, or as you'll see in a different video, you can also add somebody as a co-host of a community, which gives them access to anything you put in a Lome community. 1:04 Those are far better roles than an admin for most cases. So we say event co-host, we send it from. Riley plus test with lome.com. 1:17 You also can preview and, um, hi, you could edit that and then we hit send the invite and now you'll see here you have a co-host on this event.

Managing Co-Host Names and Information

Once you've added a co-host to your event, you'll want to make sure their name and information appear correctly to participants. Here's how to manage co-host details:

Where Co-Host Names Appear

Co-host names will be visible to participants in several places:

  • On the sign-up form itself
  • In confirmation emails sent to participants
  • In event communications and updates

Editing Co-Host Information

To update a co-host's name or contact information:

  1. Go to your sign-up form and click "Share"
  2. Select "Co-hosts" from the menu
  3. Find the co-host you want to edit
  4. Click the edit icon next to their name
  5. Update their information as needed
  6. Save your changes

Best Practices for Co-Host Identification

To ensure clear communication with your participants:

  • Use the co-host's full name that participants will recognize
  • Include their role or title if helpful (e.g., "Sarah Johnson - Youth Pastor")
  • Make sure contact information is current and monitored
  • Coordinate with your co-host about who will handle which communications

Managing Admin Permissions

Sometimes you'll need to upgrade existing participants or team members to have full admin access to your Lome account.

Upgrading Participants to Admin

To give someone full admin permissions:

  1. Go to your account settings
  2. Click on "Team" or "Admin Management"
  3. Click "Add Admin" or "Send Invitation"
  4. Enter the person's email address
  5. Select "Admin" as their role level
  6. Add a personal message if desired
  7. Click "Send Invitation"

Permission Level Differences

Understanding the different access levels:

  • Event Co-host: Can edit and manage specific events or forms
  • Community Co-host: Can manage all content within a specific community
  • Admin: Has full access to your entire Lome account, including billing and account settings

Managing Role Transitions

When upgrading someone from participant to admin:

  • They'll receive an email invitation to accept admin access
  • Their previous participant access remains until they accept the admin invitation
  • Once they accept, they'll have full account access
  • You can revoke admin access at any time from the admin management panel

Resending Admin Invitations

If someone hasn't received or accepted their admin invitation:

  1. Go to your admin management panel
  2. Look for "Pending Invitations" section
  3. Find the invitation that needs to be resent
  4. Click "Resend" next to the invitation
  5. If the invitation has expired, click "Cancel" and send a new invitation
  6. Double-check that the email address is correct before resending

If the person still doesn't receive the invitation, ask them to check their spam folder and verify their email address with you.
